I love creating!
...ever since I can remember, the colors of crayons enticed me, dark purple crayons were the best. In first grade I had to draw a picture of a coat on the blackboard, the whole class said "ooooh."

It was at that moment I realized, "Hey, this is fun and I just drew something special!"

I received a pen for Christmas, that changed ink colors when you clicked one of the maybe 10 colors at the top. I played with that thing forever! These childhood creative joys led me to study Art in college.

My husband makes me laugh, which is very important. We've been married 21yrs and he's never been boring. He's talented in many ways, a marksman who competed in a Worlds competion and an airplane designer, but woodworking is his special talent of the moment. He's made much of the furniture in our home. Right now his favorite project is turning wooden pens ~ they are beautiful! Maybe someone lucky will receive one of his pens as a greeting!

I have a daughter in college who continues to bring me so much joy. We're so silly together and have the same crazy sense of humor. She is also very creative, but her strengths are in the performing arts, acting, music, writing, and arts management.

My favorite mediums are colored pencils, pastels, markers, collage, paper craft and rich velvety texture. I just bought some hand-made paper and I love working with it. I apply the torn or cut paper to a blank card and embellish it with various stamps, threads, or stickers.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002, but probably had symptoms 7 years before then. I've been on Copaxone since my Dx and have remained stable.

It took me almost 5years before I found MSWorld.org, an online message board; and boy how it changed my life! I hosted the MSWorld ATC (artist trading cards) series #5, theme In My Shoes. The 15 members from MSW depicted how it felt to be In My Shoes. It was a wonderful project and everyone involved was deeply touched by each others' work.

The ATC project lead me to create MS Awareness Gallery on MySpace. It celebrates artists with MS, the response has been tremendous. I've made many new friends there that continue to inspire me with their expressive artwork. One of my friends on myspace accepted MS Awareness Gallery to be included in a MySpace exhibit. I chose a sample of the MSWorld ATC's to spread awareness about MS.

The members on MSWorld continue to astonish me with their caring, compassion, and humor. Their friendships have changed not only my life, but hopefully yours, because our friendships lead us to Our Heart Greeting...a wonderful place to be.

So please join us in celebrating the abilities in all of our hearts. Do whatever your heart guides you to do....even if you've never made a thing in your life, make your mark and share it with someone who needs a special greeting. You'll both receive a gift you've never imagined.....
